Josh Bray
Josh Bray

Josh Bray is a 26 year old singer songwriter from London. A relative newcomer to both the London scene and music having come late to the guitar at the age of about 21. Heavily influenced by the British folk revivalist movement of the 60's and 70's, his music has been compared to Nick Drake, Jose Gonzales, Jack Johnson and John Martyn among others. He has recently burst onto the London Live scene with gigs for the famous ElectroAcousticClub at the Slaughtered Lamb, Decadent Studios at Sand Bar in Clapham, The Wye Fayre, Great Escape and 2000Trees Festivals, and the world renowned, "Bush Hall" in Shepherds Bush. He is currently getting ready to record his first EP with funding from an independent sponsor/label and planning to increase his gig output off the back of this triumphant project. He was featured in the Jack Wills Summer Holiday Video 2007.

Barefoot Confessor
Barefoot Confessor

Barefoot Confessor was born in April 2008 from the remnants of west London based band Red Eye Banquet. Despite having formed barely 3 months ago, Barefoot confessor have gathered a lot of attention from within the music industry even before building themselves the usually required massive fan base. The last few performances have seen attendance from some of the biggest names in music and it seems that everyone wants a piece of the band. However, determined not to be seen as just another “trendy band”, Barefoot Confessor are in for the long haul and hope that the music speaks for itself rather than any particular buzz around them.

The next 6 months look busy with gigs, interviews, photo shoots, rehearsals and recording to build on their early success, so this is as good a chance to see them as you’re going to get for a while.

Repeatedly described as a breath of fresh air for an industry stale with generic bands, outfits like Barefoot Confessor need to be seen, and there is no better time than the present.

Band members:

Michael Shearer- Vocals/Guitar
James Towers- Guitar/Keyboard
Erol Yurdagul- Bass
Chris Rees- Drums

Andy Knox
Andy Knox

Having been playing and gigging since the age of 11, the word 'entertaining' comes naturally to Andy Knox. This 20 year old Scot was driven on by a musical and creative family as well as by artists such as REM, Squeeze, Genesis and the ‘Brit-Pop’ era of the 90s. Armed with his acoustic guitar & a unique, husky voice, Knox has to date (May 2008) released a download single (‘Feel Me’ – Sept 2007; available from iTunes), supported Sandi Thom, Jack McManus & Ocean Colour Scene and had his single used as the backing track to the Jack Wills winter collection advert. Songs of love, anger, reason and the future may initially put this youngster into the clichéd bracket of a "depressed" singer/songwriter, but he is much more than that....
